Eugene Mascara

Eugene Rimmel (1820 - 1887) was a Parfum or and a Business man French persons in charge of manufacture and marketing of certain beauty products. He joined the perfumery of his father with London in 1834 and he founded the Room of Mascara. They started to produce their first cosmetic products the same year. He and his/her father presented the first product not-poison: the Mascara. It became so popular that the Rimmel is to date the word for will mascara in several languages in particular in French and Italian.

The beauty products of Mascara, now called London Mascara, belong from now on to the company Coty Deutschland GMBH.

Nowadays, in the line of the Mascara family, one will find in particular Olivier Rimmel and Thierry Rimmel, two business men French who do not carry on their activities in the sector of perfumery.

Olivier Rimmel founded Global Internet Solutions, French company pionnière in the Internet, and overall redirected the activities of the group towards high technologies of information (NTIC) since 1992.

Thierry Rimmel carries on activities in the field of the high level sport and in working.
