Ethnopsychiatrica

Ethnopsychiatrica was a review of Psychologie, Psychanalyse and of Social sciences, semi-annual, bilingual, and university, published by the Wild Pensée Editors, who published five numbers, of 1978 to 1981, of which a double number.

Context

The review was devoted to the study of the Psychopathologie (individual or collective) in its reports/ratios the sociocultural structures and processes. It published:

of theoretical and methodological work,
results of a search in private clinic or on the ground,
of the studies on the knowledge, beliefs and psychiatric practices of not-Western companies,
of research on the cultural aspects of the modern Psychiatry, studied as a Ethnoscience.

Editor association was Georges Devereux, assity of Tobie Nathan. This review will make date. Important original aticles were published there. Part of the team will develop then the Nouvelle Review of Ethnopsychiatrie. It is about the first review treating of subjects as like the Ethnopsychiatrie and the Ethnopsychanalyse in France.
