Establishments of the straits
The establishments of the straits (implied Malacca and of Singapore), in English Straits Settlements , are a whole of territories managed by the English Compagnie of the Eastern Indies, gathered within same a British colony in 1826.
Initially, the establishments of the straits consisted of Penang, Singapore, Dinding (island of Pangkor, Seberang Perai (in the past province Wellesley opposite Penang) and Malacca.
