Ernest Green . (1882 - November 4th 1947). Statistician and Canadian Historian .

Biography

First of all journalist, it was engaged like compiler of demographic data at the Department of Trade and the Ministry of Labor before joining it the Statistical office of the Dominion. He took his retirement in 1947. Interested by the local history the peninsula of the Niagara, he was the author of Lincoln At bay: With Sketch off 1814 (Welland, 1923) and contributed by its drafting of very many articles estimated with the Papers and Records of the historical Company of the Ontario.
