Ernest Fox Nichols
Ernest Fox Nichols , born with Leavenworth (Kansas) on June 1st 1869 and died in Washington the April 29th 1924, is a American Physicien . He worked in particular to the measure of the Pression of radiation (1901) and showed the similarity of the infra-red raies with the Hertzian waves (1923). This work was worth to him the Prix Rumford in 1904. He was president of the Dartmouth College (New Hampshire) of 1909 with 1916.
