Eric Powell

Eric Powell is a draftsman and scenario writer of Comic S American.

Biography

Self-educated artist, hermit living at the bottom of the forests of the Tennessee with his wife and her two sons, it decided to choose a career of author of comics so as not to have to leave its house.

Since 1995, he collaborated with Marvel Comics, initially like inking ( Hulk , Black Panther ), cd. Comics (Batman - Arkham Asylum: Living room Hell ) and more notably Dark Horse ( Buffy , Angel , Star Wars Bruise or Hellboy: Odd stories ).

It is on the other hand with its own title, The Goon, which it met success. Humor black and shifted this series made fly, and after some numbers published on account of author under the Albatros label, Dark Horse took again the series. Immediately recognized like one of the titles the most original created these last years, The Goon collected in the passing several notable distinctions in 2004: International Horror Guild Award , but more especially a Eisner Award in the category better history published in the USA during the year.
