Eric Hazan
Eric Hazan is a writer, editor and former doctor. He says Anarchist-Communist.
Eric Hazan, very early politically committed, joined FLN during the War of Algeria. In 1975, become cardiovascular surgeon, and founding member of free-Palestinian medical Association, it goes in a Lebanon in full war, to be used as doctor “with this " armée" that one called at the time the " Palestino-progressistes" ”.
To forty, he becomes editor. He governs the destiny of the editions of art rested by his father, whom he gives up fourteen years later, after the repurchase by the Groupe Hatchet and the preponderance of accounting logic. In 1998, it founds the editions “the factory” to fight against the concentration of the edition, then turns to the writing. He was also translator (in particular of works of Edward Said).
