Equulei alpha
Alpha Equulei (α Equ/α Equulei) is the the most brilliant star of the Constellation of the Petit Horse. It also bears the traditional name Kitalpha .
It is a binary star spectroscopic made up of a yellow Géante of spectral Type G0 and of a white star of the principal sequence of the spectral type A5. The apparent magnitude of the system is of 3,92. It is with approximately 186 light-years of the Ground.
