the Équipe of the Netherlands of female football represents the Netherlands in world female football under the aegis of the Fédération of the Netherlands of football (Koninklijke Nederlandse VoetbalBond). The team played its first international match the April 17th 1971 against the France.
The selection is pulled today by Vera Pauwn. According to the World classification of the FIFA, the Netherlands are classified with the 18th world rank and the 11th European rank.
At the time of the qualifications for the Football world cup female 2007, the Netherlands played in the group E against the France, the England, the Austria and the Hungary but was unfortunately not qualified.
