In 1960, however, the future fourth of the '' Mundial '' 1962 reached the final vis-a-vis the the USSR (0-2) after having beaten the France 5-4 in semi-final. In 1968, one needed two finales on its own land (0-0, 2-0) for large the '' Squadra Azzurra '' of the Albertosi, Riva, Mazzola, and Rivera, finalist of the World cup two years later, to come to end from the generation from the Pantelic, Musemic, or others Dzajic. In 1976 finally, in residence, another generation of very great value (Petrovic, Katalinski, Popivoda, Surjak, Dzajic) was not inclined in semi-final vis-a-vis the FRG, world champion in title, that after prolongations (2-4) and a triplet of Dieter Müller. In 1992, Yugoslavia is to replace by Denmark second of its group which Yugoslavia had beaten in direct match. And with the general surprise, Denmark will gain Euro 92 in Sweden.
