Emmanuel Monick

Emmanuel Monick was named governor of the Banque de France to the Libération to replace Yves Bréart de Boisanger.

It in particular had to regulate the excellent bargain of the Bank of Belgium, which had been requisitioned by the Nazis following the armistice of 1940 and resold with the Swiss national Banque.

220 tons of gold were returned to the National Bank of Belgium to the release, on the clean reserves of Banque de France. On the 220 tons of stolen ingots, Banque de France will recover only 90 tons and 250 million Swiss francs.
