Emmanuel Bob Akitani

Bob Akitani of its true name Bob Emmanuel Akakpovi was born the July 18th 1930 with Aného in the prefecture from the Lakes. Of Togolese nationality he is married and father of five children. He is engineer with the retirement.

Presidential election of 2005

Emmanuel Bob Akitani is one of the three remaining candidates in string the April 24th 2005, day of the elections. This very disputed poll was the object of many irregularities to avoid its election. According to semi-official calculations, it should have been the true winner of these elections with a vast majority. Faure Gnassingbé, wire of the general Eyadéma, was officially proclaimed president of the Republic.
