Emile Claim

Paul Emile Placet is engineer, active of 1864 to 1889. In 1864 it succeeds the Bisson brothers with 8, rue Garancière with Paris to the neighborhoods of 1867 or it settles 328, rue Saint-Jacques. The same year it presents to the exposure of the French company of Photographie, of which it is adherent, " various specimens of héliographies". It has the same nature of object to the exposure of 1865 to the difference meadows that it gives some details: " Copper-plate engraving, Typography, Lithography, engraving on glass, enamels, damascening etc the steel board representing the church Saint-Etienne-of-Mount is engraved in the light of the pétrole". In 1867 one finds it associated with Jules Jolly-Grangedor (1819-1871) with whom it exposes to the World Fair of Paris of the same year. The last trace that we have of this photographer is the World Fair of 1889 when it will obtain a bronze medal, its workshop is localized 13, rue de Montenotte.
