Elie Aoun
Elie Aoun (born in Damour in 1939) is a Lebanese politician.
Lawyer, it was at a certain time close to the Lebanese Forces, before being combined with the leader of the Socialist party progressist, Walid Joumblatt. This last includes it on its electoral roll in 2000 and he is elected appointed Maronite of the Chouf.
Member of the block of the democratic Meeting, it opposes the extension of the mandate of the president Emile Lahoud and takes part in the Révolution of the cedar in 2005 after the assassination of Rafiq Hariri. In June 2005, he is re-elected at his station of deputy, on the list of the forces of the Alliance of March 14th.
