Elias Viljanen

Elias Viljanen (born on July 8th, 1975) is a musician Finnish, more known to be in particular the guitarist of Sonata Arctica since 2007. Sometimes known under the name of E.Vil, it joined Sonata Arctica following the departure of Jani Liimatainen, évincé of the in May 2007 group. This decision was made official on August 8th, 2007, although Elias Viljanen had already the load of the role of guitarist during the rounds of spring and summer of the group. It quotes KIS, Metallica, Slayer, and Whitesnake among its musical influences.
