Économie morning is a economic Hebdomadaire French free appearing Monday.

Concept

Économie morning proposes with its readers to reach the essence of information economic in a minimum of time, by privileging the practical information, useful, concrete. It is distinguished from the other free ones by adopting a system of speed reading by surlignant the essence of the matter of an article.

History

Économie morning was founded by Jean-Baptiste Giraud, in June 2004. The President of SAS the Pool Presses editor of the weekly magazine and the director of the publication is currently Frédérick Fabry.

Économie morning quickly touched its target, the urban active junior managers, according to two investigations readers (IFOP in June 2005 and TNS Sofres in December 2006): its assistantship is composed to 93% of credits and 69% members of the higher Socioprofessional category.

The funds of investment Group UFG, IDFD and Spinnaker joined the historical shareholders (the Breton Company of Development, Bleucom, Datops, and the founders (Jean-Baptiste Giraud and Frédérick Fabry)) in spring 2006. The funds of investment Spinnaker took the total control of the company in September 2007.

Celebrating its second birthday in June 2006, Économie morning became also a free Quotidien on Internet (while preserving the weekly edition paper). Économie morning offers to its readers more contents of his edition paper (32 pages) and develops exclusive and original networks of diffusion (airports, carpark VINCI,…)

In 2006, its turnover reached 4 million euros, in growth of 30%.
