Economic community and monetarist of central Africa
The Economic community and monetarist of central Africa (CEMAC) is an international organization created to take the relay of the Customs union and Économique of Africa Centrale (UDEAC). The treaty instituting the CEMAC was signed on March 16th 1994 with Ndjamena (Chad) and came into effect in June 1999.
The CEMAC, which gathers the monetary Union of central Africa (UMAC) and the economic Union of central Africa (UEAC), has the role:

to establish an increasingly narrow union enters the people of the Member States to harden their solidarity geographical and human;
- to promote the national markets by the elimination of the obstacles to the intercommunity trade, the coordination of the development programs, the harmonization of the industrial projects;
- to develop the solidarity of the Member States with the profit of the underprivileged countries and areas;
- to create a true African Common Market.

the Conference of the Heads of States charged to lay down the policy of the Community and to direct the action of the UEAC and the UMAC.

- the Bank of the States of central Africa (BEAC), sitting at Yaounde (Cameroun) lays down and leads the monetary policy.
- Court of justice of the Community installed with Ndjamena (Chad).
