Ecological reserve Jules-Carpentier

The ecological reserve Jules-Carpentier is located at 3,5 km in the North-West of Bridge-Red. This territory protects a forest of conifers representative of the plain from the means the St. Lawrence. The name of the reserve commemorates Jules Carpentier (1921 - 1983), who was mayor of Holy-Jeanne-of-Bridge-Red of (1967-1983). Its heirs gave to the ministry the grounds constituting the reserve.
