Ecological reserve Charles-B. - Banville
The ecological reserve Charles-B. - Banville is located at Lake-Huron with 40 kilometer in the South-east of Rimouski. This reserve protects an element representative of the the Appalachian Mountains in the area from the Low-Saint-Laurent. The name of the reserve pays homage to the abbot Charles-Borromée Banville (1925-1984), instigator of the Opération Dignity, movement aiming at countering the closing of the villages to the Low-Saint-Laurent and in Gaspésie.
