East 17

East 17 is a Boys band English creates in the Années 1990; their name comes from the zip code of Walthamstow, in the suburbs of London. The members who compose the group are: Tony Mortimer, Brian Harvey, John Hendy and Terry Coldwell.

Biography

There are 10 titles which reached signal 10 in the U.K. between 1992 and 1998. Their 1st Walthamstow album, coming from a district of the east of London where they lived, placed n°1 of the sales of albums, and comprised a quantity of signal 20 for the individual ones, the majority of the principal songs were “House Off Coils” and “Deep”. In 1994, with the exit of their 2nd album “Steam”, they placed their individual n° 1 of individual to the U.K. #1 with “Stay Another Day” which remained in the signal during 5 weeks. In 1996 they placed n°2 with the duet with Gabrielle “Yew You Ever”.

Then the album “Up All Night” of which “Thunder”, “C U Still” and “Someone to Love” became the individual ones. “The Journey So Far” announced the end of the group in 1997.

However Brian, Terry and John reformed themselves in 1998 pennies the name E-17 and started well with “Each Time” which reached the 2nd place in the charts in the U.K. After the exit of “Resurrection” and one 2nd individual “Betcha Cant” Wait' the group separates in 1999.

Brian as for him launches out in solo. It makes a duet with the English group True Steppers with the title “True Step Tonight”. In 2001 it leaves “Straight Up No Bends” and is placed in signal 40 of charts the U.K. Its album “Solo” fate can of time afterwards.

In October 2001, “Loving You” leaves in duet with Wyclef Jean but does not reach the discounted effect.

Brian in December 2001 is made attack at the exit of a club with blow of machete. It is seriously wounded but could be left there.

January 2006, it is at the official site of Tony to open his doors.

February 2006 left the individual solo of Tony “NTOXYC8”.

February 25th, 2006 during an English emission CD: The U.K., the fans are pleased to see the 4 brought together members of East 17 announcing the reformation of the group.

May 30th, 2006, Shepherds Bush Empire in London accommodated 2000 fans and the group for a concert.
