Earth (newspaper)

the Earth : philosophical newspaper and arts person , appeared between the September 15th 1824 and the April 20th 1832. It was created by Pierre Leroux and Paul Dubois. Initially primarily literary, its initial object was to support the intellectual boiling of the romantic authors, and for this reason, he exerted a real influence.
From 1828, it becomes a political newspaper and takes an attitude of liberal opposition.
In December 1830, repurchased, the newspaper becomes the body of the Saint-Simonism with Michel Chevalier as director.
