ED McGuinness
Edward " Ed" McGuinness is an American draftsman of comics.
Biography
Born on March 1st 1974, it will discover the comics when a cousin offers to him comics of Spider-Man.After short studies, it will make its great beginning in the comics in 1995 by drawing the first two episodes of Vampirella Strikes for Harris Comics. Thereafter he will work for Marvel Comics on several titles, before launching with Joe Kelly a regular series of Deadpool in 1997, on which its style between cartoon and manga will make wonder.
He left then Marvel to carry out at Awesome the mini-series in 3 episodes Fighting American: Rules off the Range scenarized by Jeph Loeb. On its return at Marvel it will briefly pass on Cable and Hulk , before setting out again.
It will launch with the scenario writer Joe Casey (whom it had already cotoyé on Hulk and Cable ) the series Mr. Majestic for Wildstorm. Its performance on this character inspired of the Steel Man is such as it was found propelled on Superman with the scenario writer Jeph Loeb. There will remain two years there, contributing to the revival of the character, before carrying out at Wildstorm the essence of a mini-series of 5 episodes devoted to the Thundercats .
In 2003, it carries out the first arc of the series Superman/Batman , once again with its accomplice Jeph Loeb, before off carrying out the first three episodes of the series derived from Justice League America, JLA Classified . It then returned on Superman/Batman for the conclusion of the passage of Jeph Loeb.
It also carried out many covers and indicated a project of cartoon baptized " Holiday Heroes".
It quotes like principal influences Arthur Adams and John Byrne, as well as the video games of Capcom. He lives in the Maine with his wife and his four children.
