E-business and m-trade

The electronic businesses or E-business (electronic business) in English, correspond to a very vast concept which one could synthesize by the use of electronic means (particularly of the Technologies the information) to carry out Affaires (Business in English). In fact often technologies Internet and the Web come to mind, but in fact almost all electronic technologies intervene in the field of the electronic businesses. The electronic businesses existed besides well before the Web, even if this one allowed a better visibility of this field by the general public.
Le " term; e-business" was invented by Lou Gerstner, President of IBM.

The methods suggested by the E-business make it possible the companies more effectively to put in work their processes and with more flexibility as well in-house as with the external entities. These methods make it possible to work more narrowly with the suppliers and partners, with an aim as well as possible of satisfying the needs and waitings of the customers.

In practice, the use of the E-trade leads to new sources of revenue, the improvement of the relations with the customers and partners, and to a better effectiveness by the use of the Management systems of knowledge. The E-business can be spread through public Internet network, of the internal networks (Intranet) or external (Extranet) private and made safe, or more generally any electronic means of communication.

The E-business is not reduced to the E-trade. It also covers all the processes implied in the Chaine of the value S: electronic purchases ( E-procurement in English), the management of the chain of provisioning with the electronic treatment of the orders, service to the customers, and relations with the partners. That applies to the traditional and virtual organizations. The technical standards suitable for the E-business facilitate the exchanges of information between the companies. The software solutions integrating these standards allow the integration of the processes within the companies but also between the companies.

The E-business can include/understand the use of the knowledge and or the Savoir-faire of the Net surfers, as in the Crowdsourcing.

What includes/understands the electronic businesses

The electronic businesses are a very vast subject, and it is almost impossible to quote all that enters this field. In fact, all that is electronic and which can be used to make deals intervenes in l'" e-business". Thus, if your company communicates with its supplier by exchanging data by telephone, network (lan, wan, Web, wap, etc) radio waves or any other technology, it makes electronic deals.
