Dynasty

Dynasty , which comes from the Greek dunasteia , succession of sovereigns who have the same family. (e.g. the dynasty capétienne). (e.g. the dynasty of the Bach, the Bruegel, or the Médicis).
A dynaste is, in this respect, a sovereign reigning in an ancient synonymous meaning. In the modern meaning, the term is employed in the terms of successional law.
