Dororo
Dororo (どろろ/ Dororo ) is a Manga of Osamu Tezuka in 3 volumes, published with the Japan in 1968.
Summary of the history
This manga tale history of Hyakkimaru, Japanese young man whose father made " offrande" of 48 parts of the body of Hyakkimaru during its birth with 48 demons (in the intention having to be able more) before giving up it. Hyakkimaru will be raised by a doctor who will replace the missing parts by prostheses, of which some are weapons (for example, the false arm hide sabers).Hyakkimaru develops supernatural directions (since it is deaf, blind, etc) which enable him to be defended vis-a-vis the demons. Indeed, because of the offering made by his/her father, of the demons continue it unceasingly, and the engagements against these demons (inter alia) thus confer the qualification of " manga samouraï" with this manga. With each time one of the 48 demons is beaten by Hyakkimaru, this one recovers one of the 48 missing parts of its body.
The title, Dororo, come from the supporting character, Dororo, child hooligan who will meet the way of Hyakkimaru and will follow it through the Japan.

- Dororo gave place to a film with Kou Shibasaki and Satoshi Tsumabuki, which was filmed in Zealand News.
- Two additional films are currently in production, for 2008 and 2009 respectively.
