The word Domaineur is derived from English.
A domainor is a Entrepreneur or a Spéculateur specialized in the Domain names; it records (creates) or repurchases Domain names with an aim of benefitting from it. It is often confused wrongly with the Cybersquatteur.
Before the boom of, the domaineurs focused on the Domain names known as " génériques" such as " acheter.com" , " dormir.com" , etc.
Since, much of sales of domain names the names receiving of the traffic concern (such as the sites having existed and whose field was not renewed) because the latter can bring back several thousands of euros per month to their owner.
The typical example is a page known as of " parking" who proposes to the visitor a panel advertizing bonds; when a visitor clicks on one of these bonds, a certain going sum of a few centimes of euro has several euros is transferred with the owner of domain name.
