Doc Gynéco
Doc Gynéco is the name of artist of Bruno Beausir . Singer French of Rap, born with Clichy-sous-Bois in Seine-Saint-Denis, the July 7th 1974. The nickname of " Doc. Gynéco " he was given by his/her friends at the end of his adolescence to praise its qualities of Séducteur.
Biography
Musical career.
Bruno Beausir is a Métis born parents inhabitants of Guadeloupe. After the departure of his father, it only grows with his mother in a tower of the Door of the Vault of the 18th district of Paris.
With adolescence, it becomes acquainted with Gilles Duarte, known as Stomy Bugsy, which becomes one of his/her large friends, and who will make him meet Passi. At this point in time it begins its outward journeys return to Sarcelles, suburbs in which his/her two friends are originating and found the very virulent group of rap famous BITTER Ministère. It is as as from this period as it takes an active part in the success of the Secteur Ä. Collective of rappeurs and singers of ragga in which the majority are originating in the Val-d'Oise (95). In make also parties Passi, Stomy Bugsy, the groups Ärsenik and Neg' Marrons, or Hamed Daye and MC Janik.
In 1997, it is nominated with the Victoires of the music in the revelation category of the year.
In 1998, it produces compilation dangerous Liaisons by which it puts forward many rappeurs for the majority rather unknown of the general public at the time (MC Jean Gab' 1, Pit Baccardi, etc). One finds there also collaborations unexpected, like those with the group Rita Mitsouko, or the duets which it divides with the singer Renaud and the businessman Bernard Tapie. Compilation comprises 4 titles interpreted by Doc Gynéco.
In 1999, he states to separate from the Secteur Ä because of a murky story of swindle and aggression of which he would have been the victim. Little time after, other heads of poster of the collective (namely the BITTER Ministère and its entourage) will make some in the same way.
After one year of media withdrawal appears in 2001 its second album solo, Quality Street , recorded in London. A disc intimist in which it approaches more than ever of the French song that it affectionate since always. As with its practice it surprises by its collaborations, which go from the actress Chiara Mastroianni to the American rappor RZA, leader of the group Wu Tang Clan, while passing by Laurent Voulzy and the singer of reggae jamaicaïn Gregory Isaacs.
In 2002, its lunar and tempting media character is omnipresent on the plates of television until he becomes even a more or less regular chronicler in the emission One cannot like everyone presented by Marc-Olivier Fogiel on France 3. Doc. takes all the same time to publish Solitaire , an album less personal and more accessible than the precedent, on which it invites Mathieu Chedid as a guitarist, Lord Kossity, the Californian rappor Daz Dillinger of the group Dogg Pound and finally the close friend Stomy Bugsy. It will obtain with this disc the price of the best album Rap/Hip-hop with the Victories of the music 2003.
In 2003, at the request of Luc Besson, it composes the music of the credits of introduction of the film Taxi 3 and appears with other singers of musics urban like Corneille or Pharrell Williams on the original soundtrack. It leaves also the same year Menu Best Of , a compilation which chronologically recalls its career by joining together its greater successes and which is decorated of three new titles.
In 2004, because of the sales figures of its discs increasingly weak, the recording company Virgin will put an end to its contract at the end of ten years. It should be noted that for this period he will have been owner, a very short time, label Virgin Rue.
In 2006, it leaves simultaneously the albums a natural Man and Doc. records with the district on a new label, Exclaim. It publishes also an autobiography a natural Man in which it tells his childhood close to the Door of the Vault and its conquests in love.
In 2007 are published her book the great minds meet - Sarkozy and I, a friendship with the service of France which is accompanied by a disc made up of three new songs.
In an interview with Thierry Ardisson, he would have stated to have a woman and three children but not to live with them.
Political positioning and controversies.
In 2001 he says himself near to the Socialist party in spite of his support for Jacques Chirac for presidential of 1995.In 2002, at the time of the second round of presidential joining together Jacques Chirac and Jean-Marie Le Pen, it leaves the song " it is non" in which it encourages to vote Chirac.
In 2006, it is approached by Pierre Charon (to advise in communication of Nicolas Sarkozy) which sees in this rappor a means of making of it a backfire with the crisis of the suburbs of at the end of 2005. Thus is organized with the ministry for the interior an appointment between Doc Gynéco and Nicolas Sarkozy. The publication of this book raises many criticisms on this convenient rallying and its own contradictions.
