District of Riom

The district of Riom is a French administrative division , located in the department of the Puy-de-Dôme and the area of Auvergne.

the district of Riom coincides with the sixth legislative district of the Puy-de-Dôme; its current deputy is Jean Michel (PS).

Composition

The composition of the district does not seem to be affected by the reorganizations of 1926 and 1942.

Canton of Aigueperse, which groups 12 communes:

Aigueperse, Artonne, Aubiat, Bussières-and-Pruns, Chaptuzat, Effiat, Montpensier, Saint-Agoulin, Saint-Genoa-of-Retz the, Sardon, Thuret and Vensat.

Canton of Combronde, which groups 12 communes:

Beauregard-Vendon, Fields, Combronde, Davayat, Gimeaux, Joserand, Montcel, Prompsat, Saint-Hilaire-the-Cross, Saint-Myon, Teilhède and Yssac-la-Tourette.

Canton of Ennezat, which groups 11 communes:

Caps, Chavaroux, Clerlande, Ennezat, Entraigues, Marten-on-Morge, Saint-Beauzire, Saint-Ignat, Saint-Laure, Surat and Varennes-on-Morge.

Canton of Manzat, which groups 10 communes:

Ancizes-Comps, Coal-scuttle-the-Varennes, Coal-scuttle-the-Old women, Châteauneuf-the-Baths, Loubeyrat, Manzat, Queuille, Saint-Angel, Saint-Georges-of-Mons and Vitrac.

Canton of Menat, which groups 12 communes:

Blot-l' Church, Lisseuil, Marcillat, Menat, Nine-Church, Pouzol, Saint-Gall-on-Sioule, Saint-Pardoux, Saint-Quintin-on-Sioule, Saint-Rémy-with-Blot, Serving and Teilhet.

Canton of Montaigut, which groups 10 communes:

Ars-les-Favets, Buxières-under-Montaigut, Crouzille, Durmignat, Lapeyrouse, Montaigut, Moureuille, Saint-Éloy-the-Mines, Virlet and Youx.

Canton of Pionsat, which groups 10 communes:

Bussières, Cellette, Castle-on-Expensive, Pionsat, the District, Rock-with Agoux, Saint-Hilaire, Saint-Maigner, Saint-Maurice-near-Pionsat and Vergheas.

Canton of Pontaumur, which groups 16 communes:

That, Combrailles, Condat-in-Combraille, Fernoël, Giat, Landogne, Miremont, Montel-with-Gelat, Pontaumur, Puy-Saint-Gulmier, Saint-Avit, Saint-Etienne-of-Fields, Saint-Hilaire-the-Monges, Tralaigues, Villosanges and Voingt.

Canton of Pontgibaud, which groups 10 communes:

Bromont-Lamothe, Chapdes-Beaufort, Cisternes-the-Forest, Goutelle, Montfermy, Pontgibaud, Pulvérières, Saint-Jacques-with Ambur, Saint-Bear and Saint-Pierre-the-Chastel.

Canton of Randan, which groups 10 communes:

Low-and-Lezat, Beaumont-lès-Randan, Mons, Randan, Saint-Andre-the-Cock, Saint-Clement-with-Régnat, Saint-Denis-Combarnazat, Saint-Priest-Bramefant, Saint-Sylvestre-Pragoulin and Villeneuve-the-Stags.

Canton of Riom-Is, which groups 8 communes:

Cell, Châtelguyon, Cheix, Ménétrol, Moutade, Pessat-Villeneuve, Riom (fraction of commune) and Saint-Bonnet-near-Riom.

Canton of Riom-West, which groups 7 communes:

Châteaugay, Enval, Malauzat, Marsat, Mozac, Riom (fraction of commune) and Volvic.

Canton of Saint-Gervais-in Auvergne, which groups 10 communes:

Ayat-on-Sioule, Biollet, Charensat, Espinasse, Gutters, Holy-Christine, Saint-Gervais-in Auvergne, Saint-Julien-the-Geneste, Saint-Priest-of-Fields, Sauret-Besserve.
