District of Elbasan

The district of Elbasan is one of the 36 autonomous districts of the République of Albania of a surface of 1.290 km ² with a population of 280.000 inhabitants, the capital of the district is Elbasan.

The district is wedged between the Albanian districts of Tirana, Peqin, Lushnjë, Kuçovë, Gramsh and of Librazhd.
