Disinfection
The disinfection is an operation aiming at preventing a Infection. It is thus about a Preventive action, contrary to the Antiseptie which is a curative Action, but the methods of aseptie and disinfection are similar; one speaks for example about disinfection of a healthy skin (for example before an surgical operation) but about antiseptie of a Plaie.
Disinfection comprises in general
- a phase of detersion, which consists in removing the external organic matters (for example greases, dead skins);
- a phase of disinfection itself with the use of a Disinfecting.
- an action of inhibition of the growth of the micro-organisms, one in the case of speaks about action Bactériostatique Bactérie S: it prevents the natural multiplication of the germs;
- a lethal action on the micro-organisms, one in the case of speaks about action Bactéricide bacteria: it kills the germs.
Case of the medical vehicles
The disinfection of the medical vehicles is of first importance. It contributes to the fight against the diseases nosocomiales. It is important for the people transported as for the same professionals them, confronted with the risk of infection. Within the framework of a system of management of quality one will take care particularly of the disinfection of the vehicles and the recording of the actions of cleaning and disinfection at end of traceability.
