Diplodactylinae
The Diplodactylinae are geckos mainly Arboricole S and night, living mainly in wet forests.
One finds representatives of this Sous-famille in the Pacifique southern, with representatives in Australia, New Guinea, New Zealand, New Caledonia…
Some species of this subfamily carry adhesive parts under the tail (in the same way standard than those under the fingers, the setae).
Certain species of this subfamily are ovoviviparous, and some are among largest of the geckos ( Rhacodactylus ciliatus and sourtout Rhacodactylus leachianus ).
