Dihunamb
Dihunamb ( Midnight suppers us! ), was a monthly review in Breton vannetais, whose first number is appeared with Lorient in January 1905.
Loeiz Herrieu was the founder, at the sides of André Mellac, the principal organizer, then the director.
The review had 395 numbers. It continuously appeared (except a 5 years pause during the First World War) until April 1944.
Rene Bousquet, sub-prefect with Lorient makes prohibit during one moment the impression of Dihunamb, in 1940. It stopped most probably continuations of the bad image, after the Collaboration, of any engagement in favor of the Breton culture.
It dealt with all the subjects. It counted 3.000 subscribers.
