Digestion

The digestion is the process during which a living organism receives medium external of the food (water, molecules organic and minerals), modifies them in order to transform them into Nutriment S and selects the assimilable elements or not. By definition, digestion is a process present at all the organizations Hétérotrophe S. This digestion is carried out in a digestive Système which can correspond to simple a digestive Vacuole of a Eubactérie, or to specialize as it is the case of the ruminant mammals (Vache). Vis-a-vis the heterogeneity of alive with respect to the strategies of digestion, the adoption of the regrouping of these strategies according to the digested organic substrate seems most convenient.
