Dialyze

The dialysis is a technique of purification of solution S. In particular, in Médecine, the dialysis is a method of purification of the Sang through a membrane.

The principle consists in separating two solutions by a porous semipermeable membrane (pores of diameters, about the micrometer, identical and known), being generally appeared as a roll of dialysis. By effect of Osmosis and small molecular agitation the Molécule S will cross the membrane, while the large molecules (Macromolécule S) will be retained in the roll of dialysis. This system can be automated in the shape of apparatuses of dialysis in particular in the medical field (Néphrologie) for the people suffering from renal dysfunctions , but the principle remains the same one. The product of a dialysis (solution of collection of the small molecules) is called a dialyzate.

Types of dialysis

  • the Dialyze péritonéale uses the Péritoine.
  • the Hémodialyse is made on a circuit of extracorporal Circulation.
  • the Hémofiltration continues is a technique of dialysis lasting 24:00 /24 and several days of continuation so necessary, existing since the beginning of the years 1990 in intensive care unit for patients requiring a renal substitution and whose blood-pressure is fragile. It makes it possible “to clean” the blood of the substances Délétère S and to withdraw water in excess of the cells. one often uses it in the event of septic shock, of acute edema of the lung (water overload), the Anurie in the cases of instability Hémodynamique.
