Diaeos
Diaeos of Mégalopolis , last chief of the Achaean League (147 av. J. - C), vainly tried to defend Corinthe, was beaten by the consul Mummius (146), and took refuge in Mégalopolis, its birthplace, where it was poisoned after having cut the throat of his wife and her children.
