Department of President Hayes

The department of President Hayes (in Spanish: be Departamento of President Hayes ) is one of the 17 departments of the Paraguay. Its code ISO 3166-2 is PY-15.

Geography

The department, located at the North-West of the country, is bordering:

in north, of the department of the Viola Paraguay;
in the North-East, of the department of Concepción;
in the east, of the department of San Pedro;
in south-east, of the department of the Cordillera and the Central department and the Capital Distrito (Asunción);
in the south and the west, in Argentinian, of the province of Formosa.
