Democratic National congress of initiative
The democratic National congress of initiative (Cnid, Faso yiriwa your in Bambara) is a political party Mali into founded in 1990 and directed by Mountaga Tall.
In 1992, with the first presidential election which follows the democratic transition, Mountaga Tall obtains 11,41% and arrives in third position.
In 1995, militants led by Tiébilé Dramé leaves the CNID to found the Parti for the national rebirth (PARENA).
In 2002, with the presidential election, Mountaga Tall obtained 3,77% with the first turn. With the legislative elections of August, it makes alliance with the Rassemblement for Mali and the patriotic Mouvement for the revival within the coalition “ hope 2002 ”.
