Death in Venice ( Death in Venice ) is an opera in two acts composed by Benjamin Britten in 1973 and inspired by the news éponyme by Thomas Mann, Death in Venice .
The booklet is of Myfanwy Piper. The opera was created the June 16th 1973 with Snape Maltings during the festival of Aldeburgh in England.
