Database network
The network model is a manner of representing the data within the framework of a Database. This model is able to overcoming many difficulties of the hierarchical model thanks to the possibility of establishing connections of the 1-n type by defining associations between all the types of recordings.
This model is an extension of the preceding model (hierarchical), the bonds between objects can exist without restriction. To find a data in such a modeling, it is necessary to know the access path (bonds), this still makes the programs dependant on the structure of data.
