Dam Cleuson
The dam Cleuson is a Barrage with buttresses located in the valley of Nendaz in the Canton of Were worth in Suisse. It was built in 1947 and brought into service in 1951. The dam Cleuson belongs to hydroelectric installation Cleuson-Dixence which associates it with the Large-Dixence . A pumping station brings water in a gallery since the stopping towards the station of Blava at an altitude of 2.240 m to the foot of Large-Dixence. The stopping of Cleuson is fed by the hydrant of the Tortin .
