Dalymount Park

Dalymount Park is a Stade of Football located at Dublin. Its club is resident the Bohemians FC since the beginning of the 20th century. He is regarded as the " house of football irlandais" because it accommodated the matches of the team of Ireland and the finales of Coupe of Ireland of football. The stage also has accommodated matches of Cut of Europe (C1, C2, C3). History

With its beginnings, Dalymount Park was a kitchen garden known under the name of Pisser Dignam' S Field until its repurchase by Bohemains FC. Dalymount Park accommodated its first football game the September 7th 1901. The match opposed Shelbourne FC to Bohemians FC in front of an multitude of 5.000 spectators. Harold Sloan was the first player to register there a goal and Bohamians took a lead in the score of 4 goals on 2.

In March 1904, Dalymount accommodated its first international match. He opposed Ireland to Scotland. In 1924, the very young Irish Republic disputed there its first match vis-a-vis the United States.

During beautiful days, Dalymount Park, generally called Dalyer accommodated approximately 40.000 people for the great matches. If the capacity of the stage were not called in question, the question of the security standards was discussed.

The multitude record was establishes the May 19th 1957 when 48.000 people attended the Ireland-England match. In 1990 the final of the Cut of Ireland was organized at Lansdowne Road and not in Dalymount Park. The stage accommodated the final with rejouer in 1996 like that of 1997 and 1998. But of 1999 to 2003, the finales took place with Tolka Park. Since 2004 it is again Lansdowne Road which accommodates the finales.
