Dahmane El Harrachi

Abderrahmane Amrani , better known under its name of scene Dahmane El Harrachi , born the July 7th 1925, with El-Biar (a district of Algiers), is a composer-songwriter Algérie N of music Chaâbi. It composed in particular “ Ya Rayah ”, in particular taken again by the singer Rachid Taha. The artistic course of the singer is borrowed of his own experience of the life by translating in its songs all the variations of the Immigritude .

Biography

Of origin chaouie of the village of Djellal by his/her father who was the Muezzin of the Grande Mosque of Algiers , the Chaâbi of Dahmane El Harrachi is drawn lived of the company to the image of the bards Kaddour El Alami. He dies the August 31st 1980 in an traffic accident.
