Daína Chaviano
Daína Chaviano (born with Havana, Cuba) is considered the author of Science-fiction and most important Fantastique of the cuban literature, although he also wrote other works of general literature. Its works were translated with several languages.
Chaviano received the Gold medal in the first contest Florida Book Awards --what recognizes the best books published the previous year-- in the category Better Book in Spanish Language, by its novel the isla of los amores infinitos , which was translated with 20 languages and which will be published in France in 2008.
She currently lives with the the United States since 1991.
