Démétrios III
Démétrios III Eukairos ( Happy ) is the fourth wire of Antiochos VIII Gryphon and reigns on the south of the Syria of 95 av. J. - C. with 88 av . J. - C..
In 95 av . J. - C. it seizes Damas with the assistance of the sovereign Lagide Ptolémée X and enters in conflict with the various sovereigns of the north of Syria, its cousin Antiochos X Eusèbe and its brothers Antiochos XI Philadelphe and especially between 90 av . J. - C. and 88 av . J. - C. Philippe Ier '' Philadelphe ''. It is victorious of Alexandre Jannée, the king and high priest of the Jews but must withdraw Judaea in front of the hostility of the population. Beaten by the Parthes towards 88 av . J. - C. it is made prisoner by the king Mithridate II and dies the following year in 87 av . J. - C..
