Curly endive

The curly , or curly endive is a usually cultivated salad. On the Botanical level, it is a subspecies of the Chicorée endive of which there exists many variety S. It is a salad which is cultivated mainly in summer and autumn.

Scientific name: Cichorium endivia VAr. crispum , family of the Asteraceae .
