Cumaná is the capital of the state of Sugar to the Venezuela. It is located at the entry of the Golfe of Cariaco, close to the mouth of the rÃo Manzanares. It was the first city based by the Spanish on the American continent. Its population estimated in 2005 was of: 330928 inhabitants.
