Culture of the Czech Republic
Located in the middle of the Central Europe (Mittel Europa), the Czech Republic cultural division much of features with its neighbors German and Austrian (kitchen containing pig/cabbage/potato, importance of the music, celebrates Saint Nicolas…), it represents the most Western part of the world Slave of which it draws also a big part from its folklore, its myths founders and its traditions.

- the Czech Republic holds the record of the consumption of Cannabis in the European Union in 2005: according to the Web of the International Courier (November 25th, 2005), 24% of the population consumes cannabis regularly.
At the time of spring, a pagan Folklore which goes back to the bottom of the ages wants that the boys whip the girls with sticks of braided wicker decorated of coloured ribbons (the phallic symbolic system will be noted without it being necessary to make a drawing) and the girls sprinkle the boys with cool water (another rather transparent symbol of fertility). If they are nice and little amazones, they are satisfied to offer eggs painted to the boys who galamment whipped them. The tradition survived Catholicism, Communism and survives once again the capitalism which does nothing but exacerbate with dimensions merchant of the exchanges of blows and splashes by putting everywhere on sale whips of Easter and eggs painted.
Music
The country counts a symphonic formation of international repute, the Czech Philharmonic orchestra, based in Prague.
