Cruquius is a village located in the commune Dutchwoman of Haarlemmermeer in the province of the Holland-Septentrional .

The village is in the west of the commune, along the Ringvaart, opposite Heemstede. Cruquius draws its name from the pumping station Cruquius, itself named according to the engineer hydrologist Nicolaus Cruquius. This station was transformed into museum.
