Course data base of Brussels

The course data base of Brussels consists of a whole of murals conceived or inspired by the great authors of the Belgian Cartoon .

The project began in 1991, on the initiative of the communal authorities of Brussels-city and with the collaboration of the Belgian Center of the cartoon. At the beginning, it was not absolutely necessary to mask or to embellish one or the other pinion or section of wall of the city which asserts being one of the capitals of the cartoon, it is as an occasion to remind to the inhabitants and the visitors as many draftsmen, known in the whole world, were born or one grown in Brussels. Quickly the idea became extensive until telling about thirty frescos today, only in the Pentagon (center of Brussels), whose discovery offers the occasion to discover certain districts out of the tourist beaten paths. The association of velotourism of Brussels Pro Bicycle organizes the course with bicycle in two hours at the beginning of the House of the cyclists.
