The Cours Cambronne is a Square of Nantes builds in the fields of the Nantes architect Mathurin Crucy as from 1791.
During the history, this place knew several successive names, “Course Henri IV”, then “Course Napoleon”. This way took its current name at the time of the construction of the building bordering the angle with the street Piron. This building was indeed built grace a loan of 20000 francs, granted the young contractor Jean Garreau by Pierre Cambronne.
One finds one of the four there fountains Wallace of Nantes, the sculptor of these fountains, Charles Auguste Lebourg, being of Nantes origin.
